Friday’s Division II pole vault state champion was ConVal’s Elise Robbins.
Robbins won and scored all 10 points for the girls’ squad by clearing 8-feet, 6-inches. The boys placed seventh with 23 points and the girls 15th with 10 points.
Second in the 100-meter sprint (11.37 seconds) and sixth in the long jump (19-feet, 9 1/2-inches), junior Kendrick Edwards collected nine points for the boys. Junior Jack Harris placed second in the pole vault with an 11-foot, 6-inch personal best, scoring eight points.
Edwards, Harris, Cadwallader, and Featherstone placed fourth in 44.85 seconds in the 4×100-meter relay. Junior Jamie Post placed fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in a personal best 17.03 seconds, receiving two points.
Cadwallader’s 5-foot, 6-inch high jump equaled his best.
Junior Aida Davis ran a 400-meter personal best in 1:03.13. Brianna Decker finished her high school triple-jumping career with a personal-best 28-foot, 10-1/2-inch jump.
The boys 4×400-meter relay team—seniors Ryan Charron and Nathaniel Mao, junior Ryan O’Connor, and freshman Mason Deschenes—set a new record of 3:54.56 in the evening’s final track event.

ConVal makes playoffs.
Friday’s 8-7 win against Keene ended ConVal’s regular season. The playoff-bound Cougars finished 8-7.
Three-goal Kiernan King. Kelly McMahon, Noah Lambert, and Eric McGrath scored. Kiernan King, Kelly McMahon, Eric McGrath, Seth Fowler, and Noah Stewart assisted.
Head coach Barton Wheeler trusts his goaltender moving into the playoffs.
Wheeler claimed Nick Squatrito has attended every game.
Squatrito saved seven Keene shots. Stephen Simard also saved.
On Thursday, June 1, at 5 p.m. at the higher seed’s field, the Cougars begin playoffs.

Girls’ Tennis
Conant wins first, loses quarterfinals.
In the Division III playoffs’ opening round Thursday, No. 10 Conant High School girls tennis defeated seventh-seeded White Mountains 5-4.
Margaret Winiecki won first singles 8-0, Kelly Williams won second singles 8-4, and Grace Lewis won fifth singles 8-5 for Conant. Winiecki and Williams won first doubles 8-1, while Nobley Walker and Lewis won third doubles 8-5 to give the Orioles the win.
Third-singles Lilly Rennie defeated 8-3. Walker fell 8-4 at fourth singles and Riley Goddard 8-6 at sixth. Rennie-Goddard fell 8-5 at third doubles.
The Orioles fell 6-3 to second-seeded Kearsage Friday, ending Conant’s season.
