After Logan, Daniel Szolosi became a Chieftain soccer assistant coach. After a long search, Richmond United added Szolosi to their Boys ECNL staff.

After coaching the Columbus Crew Academy, he will lead the U13/U14 in 2023-24. Daniel worked with Richmond players Gabe Cox, Mo Tucker, and Brent Adu-Gyamfi while at the Crew.

“I am very excited to join Richmond United due to its rich history of player development and its role in developing one of the best soccer cultures across the country,” he said.

We wish Coach Szolosi well in his new post!

The club’s purpose and proven track record of creating high-level athletes and even higher-level people testify to the good work the team is doing, and I look forward to contributing to the initiative and helping raise our standards moving ahead.”

The Richmond boys and girls teams are placed #15 in the Elite Club National League. This month, three girls’ teams and five boys’ teams will compete in the ECNL playoffs in San Diego, California, and Greensboro, North Carolina.
